I created two motion videos using my illustrations with Google Veo 3.1. I first made five different illustrations capturing my hometown, Seoul
a place that feels both tranquil and vibrant, where the city and nature coexist.
This duality reflects who I am as a designer, as I’m always interested in mixing contrasting elements such as analog and digital processes, or hand drawings with vectorized graphics.
To make the illustrations feel more nostalgic, I asked Gemini for suggestions.
It recommended adding grain and textured filters to create a more tactile feeling. Following that advice, I refined the visuals in Nano Banana and finalized the illustrations.

The second motion piece represents another side of me. As a creator,
I love making new things, but I also tend to procrastinate and leave everything until the last minute. To express this playful contradiction,
I designed myself as a game character. I first sketched the character and then used Nano Banana to generate a character based on my drawing.
With the help of Google Veo 3.1, I animated the scenes by adding subtle movements such as falling snowflakes and fireworks.
Finally, I used After Effects to refine the motion and smooth out the transitions. These AI tools helped me expand my original ideas and bring my vision to life.
